Heil, Donarssen! How is your life going today? What about giving us the short bio for DONARS KRIEG?
 
- Heil Nyarl! As always, I am VERY busy with various projects I am working on. The idea of starting DONAR’S KRIEG as a solo-project came to me months after I actually recorded the first song for it, «Het Zuiveren Van Midgaard» (Purification Of Midgard).  I’m sure you noticed that this song is clearly different from the rest of the songs on the demotape.  The lyrics are more straight-forward and the production is not so clear as the other songs. At that time, I was frustrated because I couldn’t find a place to rehearse with the band I was in at that time (ELJUDNIR), so in August 1997 I wrote and recorded that one song, just to keep busy.  In november, I listened to the song over and over again, and I got in the mood to record some more stuff, which I did.
 
Unfortunately your debut tape's cover lacks any info regarding it’s recording place...
 
- That’s true. I recorded the demo at my own house, on a computer. The recording itself was quite some work: I just plugged my Marshall into my computer, and I sampled all guitars on 44.100hz, 16BIT, stereo. Then I put the drumlines together, it was hard getting the drums and guitars together perfectly. After that I did the sound effects. The clean guitars were recorded separately, and put together later on. The vocals were done over the complete songs.
 
Your lyrics deal mainly with Northern mythology and present situation with subhumans in Germany, which surprised me a bit, especially considering your origin... Why do you refer to aforementioned topics instead of appealing to your fatherland’s culture and traditions?
 
- I’m kind of surprised with this question.  The second song on my demotape, «Het Zuiveren Van Midgaard» is not about Germany, but about GERMANIA being cleansed from the jews and the war between Aryan nations. Germania is the land of the Germanic tribes, not the land of the Germans (Tacitus: «De Germania»).  In that way you should also interpret the lyrics to that song; it doesn’t make sense that Aryans fight among theirselves to save the jews, an alien people. For instance, some Vlamingen were part of the SS (Freiwilligen Legion Flandern / SS Langemarck), while other Vlamingen teamed up with the allies. The same goes for the so called «Northern» mythology; lots of people think that Wotan is only a viking god, but he is a god that was worshipped in all of Germania, also in Vlaanderen.  You can find many legends and folkish tales concerning Wotan (or Odin, if you like) from Scandinavia to Austria, from Germany to England. So, I AM writing about my own heritage. Maybe the German bandname causes some confusion.
 
May I assume that your poetry hides a special concept behind it?
 
- You could put it that way, all songs are about racial awareness in some extent.  The band name «Donar’s Krieg» defines that concept in a way: The war of the god Donar (Thor). A war that rages on many battlefields. A spiritual war against judeo-christianity and islam. A moral war against racial decline, and so forth.
 
What reasons make you think of jews as of "inferior race"? If a man has dark hair and black eyes, does it necessary mean that he’s not capable of creating anything really valuable?
 
- Jews have always played a victim-role during the course of history.  They try to escape the law of nature (survival of the fittest) by all sorts of plans; christianity, zionsism, you name it. Maybe everyone should read «The protocols of the Elders of Zion», and then tell me what they think about jews. Besides, it is a popular misconception to think of Aryans as Whites with blond hair and blue eyes. These are not «the» Aryans, just the nordic type of Aryans. The skin color is determinant!  We must face that 99% of all civilisation is the work of Whites. Whites are currently around 10% of the world’s population. I believe you are a wise man, you can make your own conclusions!  It is a fact that Aryans are a superiour race, like it or not!
 
What aims would you name as "principal" for the National-Socialistic movement?
 
- National-Socialism is the way to restore our race to the greatness it once lost.  I think that making Europe Aryan again is a first step. Of course, there is more to National-Socialism than simply «White power».  For centuries our thinking has been forced into jewish thought-patterns, for example communism and capitalism, judeo-christianity, protestantism, orthodoxism, ...  Choose either one, you get something jewish.  The spiritual death is possibly worse than real death. We must get rid of ALL inter-racial influences on ALL levels, be it cultural, socialogical, political or religious.  National-Socialism is THE way to do that.
 
Does your standpoint harm associating with various labels, zines and  distro companies? I doubt if there are a lot of individuals with the same point of view as yours in contemporary black metal scene... (unfortunately...)
 
- I doubt if National-Socialism benefits from the so called black metal scene.  I think 95% of all people listening to black metal today are airheads. Black metal is a trend, attracting fools that were part of other trends in the past.  Of course, I appeal to the other 5%! I can not name many bands, zines or disto companies that support the Cause... maybe Mouth of Sauron ‘zine and Avondwake Distribution. A Flemish band that everyone should check out for sure is LUGUBRUM - maybe ANCIENT RITES as well.  And of course, I should thank you for the opportunity to share my viewpoints with your readers. I must also state that I have trouble labeling DONAR'S KRIEG as black metal. Maybe you can compare the musical style with the style of most black metal bands, but I am not a satanist, and my lyrics are not about some hellhole in the Middle-East, or the jewish adversary of some other jewish god.
 
I noticed Varg Vikernes’ name on your thanx list... In my opinion, he’s one of the strongest personalities in today’s metal scene, causing fear and hate among narrow-minded fools as well as honour and respect of the few chosen ones... Do you agree with afore-cited words or, perhaps, you think another way? What kind of future awaits Varg and his music?
 
- You are right, Varg Vikernes is a very strong person, and he is  very important in our battle for the Cause.  His music and the whole Euronymous thing made him very famous, and I admire him for using his fame for the Cause.  Need I say that the whole anti-Varg thing seems pretty childish to me? I really like «Balders Tod». It is very different from the stuff he used to make, but this way he can appeal to a larger audience, without selling out. I think the gods of Asgard will be with him in the future!
 
Adolf Hitler... What does his personality represent in your eyes? If Germany didn’t lose WW II, what would we behold instead of our habitual world nowadays?
 
- No doubt, der Führer was a great man with a great personality.  If you have read «Mein Kampf», you know he wasn’t some rich kid that inherited power from his parents. Hitler is the example of the Aryan spirit. I think modern world leaders can learn a lot from him. If Germany would have won WWII? That’s a hard question, since there are a lot of lies seen as truth nowadays concerning the regime of  National Socialist Germany.  History is written by the winning sides.  History is propaganda. For sure, the multicultural society would have no place here, we would be out of the grasp of the USA (JEWSA).  Aryans would be able to re-invent and re-live their own culture, instead of imitating all this crap you see on MTV and the like.  Europe would propably be a lot «cleaner».  No more biological dirt (also called allochtons) on the streets.
 
Many neo-nazis of today associate themselves with «Aryans», which looks somewhat amusing in my eyes... As far as I know, ancient Indians were the only ones who could be considered as «aryans», while European tribes never had anything in common with this term!
 
- «Aryan» is the common name for ancient White peoples (and their descendants): Celts, Romans, Greeks, Germanic Tribes, Slavons....  Lots of Aryan tribes lost their purity due to interbreeding with other races, both mongoloid and negroid: the ancient Egyptians, Sumers, Indians, Iranians, etc. Today, people tend to use the term «Indo-Germanic» instead of «Aryan», because of the alleged negative connotation.
 
Can you share with us your view upon nazi "oi" music (bands like RAHOMA, SKREWDRIVER, BOUND FOR GLORY...)?
 
- Oi is not exactly my favourite music style, but I do like some skinhead bands; SQUADRON, DIE FUNFTE KOLONNE, BARSARKARNA...  I just regret that most lyrics of these kind of bands are a little bit too straight forward.  I do not accuse any of these bands of anything, but I like more intelligent lyrics that say more than merely «Sieg Heil» or «White Power».  Of course, this is my personal opinion.  One could admire them for not hiding behind words. Hail to Ian Stuart though!!!
 
Your demo was released through Avondwake Productions, while I’m absolutely unconverant with this name...
 
- Avondwake is the underground distribution two friends of mine run.  They did not really release the DONAR’S KRIEG demotape, they just help me out with the distribution of it.  Both guys are into black metal for a long time, and they know a lot of bands.  I appreciate them a lot because they NEVER gave in to the trend or the money. They want Avondwake to stay small and underground.
 
You mentioned that DONAR’S KRIEG is your solo project, so it seems like you’re involved with some other band?
 
- Yes, I am the guitar player of  a band called FYLFOT.  We are still in the songwriting / rehearsing process, so I can’t tell you more about that. Except that we will sing also in Dutch / Flemish, and that our lyrics will also serve the Cause. I also play(ed) guitar in ELJUDNIR, a band / project with guys of IRMINSUL and LUGUBRUM in it.  The future of ELJUDNIR is somewhat unsure.  We did record one song at Lugubrum Studios for the Avondwake Compilation tape (still available). Of course, both IRMINSUL and LUGUBRUM are worth checking out!
 
Tell us anything you feel necessary about Belgium and your homeside, Vlaanderen...
 
- Vlaanderen is the Dutch speaking part of Belgium. Belgium is a stupid country, and I believe that Vlaanderen should become independent.  Belgium is just another ZOG state, that is ruining the future of all Vlamingen. In 1830 a.y.p.s., we were forced into one State with the Wallons, and it has never worked out. Wallonica, let us separate!
 
How do you conceive the future of Europe? Personally I see it in the worst light and there’s nothing which could prove me wrong...
 
- When things stay the way they are right now, our Race will disappear for sure.  That’s why we should all fight for our Race! If I would name all things that I dislike currently in Europe, we would surely run out of space. Everyone with a brain knows what is wrong with Europe - and not only Europe. The «one planet, one nation» thing is not a dream, it is a nightmare.  I would like to see the end of the European Community!
 
What other BM bands / people can you name as your «spiritual brothers» (i.e. those who share your political points of view, the ones who stand for Racial Purity as the primal law and who really deserve our respect)?
 
- That’s another hard question since I do not know much bands personally.  I have heard some good things about NECROMANTIA, GRAVELAND, SPEAR OF LONGINUS, ANCIENT RITES, IMMORTAL, DARK THRONE, UNLEASHED and CARNUN, but I am not sure about their actual views. Let us not forget IRMINSUL, LUGUBRUM and FYLFOT!! I admire David and Katja Lane and the Brüder Schweigen a lot, and all at 14Words press, and numerous other persons who’s names don’t really matter (mentioning would harm them more than not mentioning them).
 
There are some pagan motifs in your lyrics, however you look more like a pure atheist...
 
- Really?  I consider myself as a Heathen, but it is true that I do not see the gods as materialized beings that look down upon us from the skies. Maybe you have heard of the «Archetype Theory» of Dr. Carl Gustav Jung?  (yes - ED) In that theory he states that Aryans have put their wisdom and moral codes into their myths and legends, and that the archetype of the Aryan man is WOTAN.  I believe this theory makes a lot of sense.
 
Have you ever thought of inviting complementary musicians in DONAR’S KRIEG?
 
- Originally, it was my intention to have a session drummer for the recording of the demotape, but that didn’t work out. DONAR’S KRIEG is my thing, so I’ll do it alone.  Not that I’m a tyran or so, but I just need something that I can do on my own. DONAR’S KRIEG will NOT be a live band. Maybe I will ask the FYLFROT  drummer to do the drumming on the second demotape, if not, I will continue to do it myself.
 
I believe that you’re quite good in history, right? Consequenly, I’m eager to hear everything you know of my country and it’s glorious past...
 
- I did study history, but unfortunately I have quit those studies to study Germanic Philology. I’m not exactly a hero on this subject, but I’ll give it a try. Let’s see, Russia. In the time of the Great Migrations, it was inhabited by Slavons. Since the 6th century a.y.p.s. it was invaded by Scandinavian warriors, founding Novgorod and Kiev.  The founder of  the Russian state was Oleg. It was dominated by Tartars and Mongols later on, followed by the Moskovian Reign. What was next? The Romanov dynasty, of which Nicolas II was the last.  After that, Russia was ruled by various jews (f.i. Lenin), dragging Russia in the World Wars, and the most disgusting regimes. Russia is a constant factor in European history, and participated in many treaties and alliances (Congress of Berlin, Triple Entente).  No doubt, Russia will continue to play an important role in world history!
 
Ok, let’s move to present times... Russia has plenty of interesting and impressive black metal bands and I’m wondering if you’re familiar with any of them?
 
- I am sorry to say that I am not familiar with the Russian black metal scene. But I’m sure that you will tell me more about your great bands sometime!  I just hope that Russian black metal will bring something new, instead of unleashing yet another hundred CRADLE OF FILTH or DIMMU BORGIR copy bands.
 
How will your music develop in future? Will DONAR’S KRIEG, similar to BURZUM, move to ambient / folk music or your creations will become more fast, raw and primitive?
 
- More primitive? No way. I expect DONAR’S KRIEG to become more complex and technical, and maybe I will incorporate more influences into my music, maybe some folk music aswell.  I forsee no drastic changes in how DONAR’S KRIEG will sound in the future.  But it will take some time before another demotape comes out. Like I said, I’m currently the guitarplayer in FYLFOT, and I intend to spend my time to that band for now.  However, nothing is final.  Only time will tell. Lyrically, I will continue to write about the same themes, without repeating myself over and over again.  Maybe I will try to use medieval schemes.

- The realization of the 14 words: «We must secure the existence of our race and a future for White children».
