SONGS FROM THE CRIMSON POOL

(article on EN NIHIL, written by Mark Riddick)

EN NIHIL is an American solo effort founded by an entity in California by  the name of Adam Fritz.  EN NIHIL  metamorphosized into form circa 1994, whereupon Adam began his vile experimentation's with harsh industrial noise scapes, tragic loops, and various sampled household items.  This obscure interfusion of psychotic dissonance found Adam on stage spreading his mechanical hate to the masses. EN NIHIL, stirring up a great deal of interest, released several obscure and limited cassettes with special packaging through various labels.  In 1996 Adam released the "Songs From The Crimson Pool" CD through his own label, Isolation.
With EN NIHIL's first CD release, came a change in style, this time with an approach towards a darker atmospheric environment.  This growth in direction spawned a signing for EN NIHIL's second disc opus, "Death Keeps," through America's Red Stream Records.  "Death Keeps" covers a wide variety of ambience, tribal, and low-frequency morbid soundscapes.  If you are looking for an emotional journey into death, then give EN NIHIL your attention and experience the extinction, 'in nothing'.
