"On the night of 7th
of October 1998, a chapel at Rublev's cemetery was savagely pillaged and
burnt down. <..> Even before the actual chapel was built, local cemetery
workers discovered a horrible inscription nearby, stating "SATANS", and
below, "there will be no chapel, never". <..> It's quite difficult to
state that Vladimir Simonov (born in 1981) and Pavel Lysov (born in 1978)
are exactly those who violated the cemetery in Summer 1998, although it's
obvious that both young men are not christians (and probably never were).
One of them has an inverted cross scarred right up on his chest. During
a search in his apartments, local policemen found out a lot of satanic
symbols, stickers saying "Fucking cool satanists" and Russian anti-christian
magazine. This horrible edition's starting off a "Die you, bastard!" wish;
one page's whole filled with Hitler, Stalin and Mao's statements. Then
again, - inverted crosses, headless Christ, photos depicting grim musicians
playing black metal, who, lyrically, deal mostly with witches, vampires,
satanism and wars. Publishers maintain their propaganda through music,
telling about hard rock which arose in Europe, particularly in Norway.
Musicians began to set churches on fire exactly in this country, having
goal to make youth in all States worldwide do the same. <..> These young
men were obviously brainwashed. There was no one to stop them, keep away
from the cutting edge. Pavel's father is a heavy alcoholic, his mother
married a foreigner and currently lives outside Russia. Vladimir's family
situation is also far from being successful. <..>
Both Lysov and Simonov
were sentenced to three years in prison, but how many those overfilled
with satanic ideas and watchwords left amongst us!"
