Did you ever wonder why you were born?

- I know I was born to try and prove that some humans have something in  their heads, and to feel all the pain and bitterness that this world has, I think that one shall show that we can do something with our lives, don't be a fucking asshole and just hang around, humans are really shit, but me as a satanist, I try to show myself I'm above all.

What or / and whom do you consider to be a sense of your entire life? Would it be, say CORPUS CHRISTII?

- I only live for black metal, some close friends and Satan, if I had nothing of this I probably would be dead by now. For me these things are all that I need to be alive and to reign in my own little world.

Every tune off "Saeculum Domini" literally breaths with hatred; actually this CD is utterly impregnated with this and alike feelings. How did you manage to make it this way? Perhaps, these are the sensations of your own, serving as a symbolical source of inspiration?

- "Saeculum Domini" reveals some of my inner feelings, true hatred, pain and desire. To see this world in flames is my biggest desire, I have no doubt about that, but since it's almost impossible we try to make people think the same. Die you pigs!

One more "how did you manage" kind of question. So, how did you manage to make MAYHEM's Necrobutcher become a part of the band?

- He's not part of the band, he's a friend of mine and we get along. I just invited him to record the bass lines of a MAYHEM song for our next album, only that.

By the way, what's your opinion on what's happening to the former "heroes" of Norwegian BM scene (why exactly Norwegian? Well, Norway was the country which gave birth to the second wave of black metal. Simple as that), their current activities and latest works, as well as the recent statements they made?

- I only like some shit's that have been released there, but more underground bands. The last MAYHEM album I like but it's only that "I like it", for me MAYHEM is part of the past but Necrobutcher is part of that past.

Are you still going to stay a duo (excluding Necrobutcher, of course)?

- Forever duo, Ignis is a very good friend and we get along very well, if  one of us leaves the band ends.

What's up with the second CD? Aren't you planning to elaborate your works in any way (stylistically, compositionally, whatever…)?

- All our releases will be pure satanic blasphemies, weapons against all that is good and pretty, we'll try to vary a bit musically, we don't want to release an album equal to the previous one, but forever black metal.

I still can't really understand why the hell do most of contemporary BM acts prefer drummachine over "live" drummer? Sometimes it sounds pretty disgusting, simultaneously ruining the atmosphere these individuals (i.e. the band) attempt to capture on their albums…

- For us it's a simple reason, there's no good B.M. drummers in Portugal, and we don't want to put a stupid fucker just because he plays good, pure and simple.

May I wonder if CORPUS CHRISTII have a good reputation in Portuguese underground?

- Shit man, that's hard, we have a small legion of brothers, the rest of the people hate us, because I do a lot of shit on gigs. I'm true, and they are shit, they think they are evil fuckers, but the real motherfucker is me, they are only some envy fuckers, fuck them. We play for ourselves, we just love what we do, I'm tired of death threats and shit. Fuck you all, you nigger lovers.

Personally I don't know that much regarding Portugal's black metal scene, so perhaps you'd enlighten me a bit concerning this subject?

- In 2001 there will finally be some very good B.M. bands like FLAMMA AETERNA, FLAGELLUM DEI, STORM LEGION and PaleMoon. It's time to prove that we can do fucking good black metal.

By the way, what about MOONSPELL? They were almost the first ones, I mean, the first ones to come up with black metal in Portugal back then… Do you have anything to say in regards to both early and latest works they've came up with?

- Fuck them, I only like their first mini CD.

Could you please give me your own description of the following notions: a) dreamvisions, b) astral projection, and c) hallucinations.

- a) I'm very much into nightmares and I love having them ; b) I've had my astral projections but not recently, I haven't slept much ; c) I don't do drugs, my only drug  (you can say) is B.M., it can take me to strange worlds.

Would you consider the annihilation of all the "organized religions" possible?

- Everything is possible, but I think it's cool to have all these religions, this way we can have even more anger of this shitty world. Fuck, I don't care about humans, that's it!

And just by the way: it seems like you're both satanists, however isn't it kinda ridiculous to worship the deity which has been "brought to life" by christianity? Satanic and christian beliefs are no less than Siamese twins, therefore is christianity is gone, gone will be a satanism, as well!

- I have reasons to believe that satanism came before christianity, it's hard for me to explain, the devil exists and yes I worship him.

Most of those who consider themselves "misanthropes" aren't really of misanthropic nature due to numerous reasons, among which is their love for the family, relatives, beloved women, etc. Hence wouldn't it be wiser to say that they "hate humanity but love people" (or the contrary)?

- I don't believe there's a single man that is misanthropic, that's bullshit. I know what love is, I've felt it, but is it christian to feel it? No fucking way man, when you love you probably will only feel total shit and just want to die, you can call me "evil", but of course that I have my good side, let's say I'm just a human, and all humans are shit. We contradict ourselves in every way. Total Death is the only salvation.

What do you know (and think) regarding Russia? Any metal bands coming from our lands you've heard lately?

- I would like a lot to visit Russia and I think probably there's some really good B.M bands there, they have all reasons to make grim and hateful black metal. The only band that I've been listening is NOKTURNAL MORTUM from Ukraine.
