CADAVERIA! CADAVERIA is the new band leaded by the long-time vocalist of
one of the most wellknown band from Italy, OPERA IX. Cadaveria and the
drummer Flegias (aka NECRODEATH vocalist...) left their old band for personal
reasons and after a momentary break they started
again with a new
line-up and refreshed blood. CADAVERIA features NECRODEATH bass player
also, involved both as musician and as artistical producer / engineer.
CADAVERIA just finished recording the debut full-length album entitled

What most countersigns
the band’s sound is surely the fact it has no boundaries and restrictions.
CADAVERIA music moves from the extreme black to the most classical heavy
metal, without refusing death metal and dark

lines are sick, distorted and evil, Marcelo Santos (Flegias) kicks more
then ever, keyboards are prevalently orchestral but

DAS ICH
Finally... after a
long time of silence since the release of the successful double-album "Relaborat"
incl. the dancefloor hit "Destillat" and Bruno Kramm's soloalbum "Coeur",
one of Germany's most acclaimed bands, the extreme duo DAS ICH, strike

OFFICIAL BAND'S STATEMENT
For the 2nd time in
his career, vocalist Brett Hoffmann has been fired from the band. In 1997
when he was asked to rejoin his former band it was under the condition
that there would be no more drug use and his drinking and lifestyle would
have to change. All seemed to be well for a while, but when we started
to tour his bad habits returned. We have considered replacing him since
March when we returned from our European Tour and he was arrested at Miami
International Airport for a drug related warrant from 1995. We figured
we would give him one more chance when he was released from jail in April,
but nothing has changed and he has if anything become worse. We have barely
seen him and have not rehearsed with him since his release. We have a new
album written that we are recording after the completion of our European
Tour that starts in March and we refuse to torture ourselves any further.
His permanent replacement is Hate Plow vocalist Kyle Symons. Kyle is no
stranger to MALEVOLENT CREATION as most people know (HATE PLOW is Rob Barrett
and Phil Fasciana's grind band) and was the only replacement we would even
consider. Both Rob and myself have recorded 2 albums with Kyle and have
done 2 tours with him and Hate Plow, and we know that this will
work. We have jammed
Malevolent songs with Kyle many times over the years and often wondered
what it would be like to have someone as brutal and intense as Kyle singing
for Malevolent. Well, now we do!!!!!!!! And it is a fucking great feeling!
With Kyle on vocals we will be able to go to new heights of musical extremities
and perform more material from our earliest releases that Brett could no
longer perform. At Kyle's request we are also re-recording a few songs
from our 3rd album "Stillborn" when we record the new album. MALEVOLENT
CREATION's touring and recording plans will go on as expected and Kyle
will make his debut as MALEVOLENT CREATION's frontman March 13th in England
where the band begins the first leg of their Europ ean Tour with KATAKLYSM
and CATASTROPHIC. This marks the beginning of a new era for MALEVOLENT
CREATION, and we are very excited about the future of the band. This change
will enable us to do so much more musically and will make touring a lot
easier for us and all involved. On behalf of myself, Rob Barrett, Gordon
Sims and Dave Culross we would like to welcome our friend Kyle Symons into
the band and we look forward to our upcoming tour and the creation of our
8th full-length release "The Will To Kill" in May. If anyone has any doubts
about Kyle's abilities as vocalist, please go to the Hate Plow website

doubts will be crushed!

FIRST-EVER LIVE ALBUM ON MARCH 19, 2002; TWO-CD SET 'RUDE AWAKENING' CONTAINS

MEGADETH roared back
on the heavy metal scene in 2001 with its Sanctuary Records debut 'The
World Needs A Hero,' which debuted in the Billboard Top 15. The successful
world tour for 'The World Needs a Hero' has yielded 'Rude Awakening,' MEGADETH's
first-ever live album and 10th full-length release overall.
'Rude Awakening,'
a two-CD set, will be released by Sanctuary on March 19,
2002. Vocalist /
lead guitarist Dave Mustaine, lead guitarist Al Pitrelli, bass guitarist
David Ellefson and drummer Jimmy DeGrasso recorded 24
skull-slamming songs
for 'Rude Awakening' including hit singles, fan favorites and rare tracks.
In fact, the set lists were chosen by the fans via voting through the band's
official web site, www.megadeth.com.
The artwork for 'Rude
Awakening' has been created by Storm Thorgerson, best
known for his PINK
FLOYD and LED ZEPPELIN album covers.

PAGAN RITES
/ AUTOPSY TORMENT
PAGAN RITES have
recorded their next album, "Mark Of The Devil", which will be released
shortly (apparently fairly Maiden-esque). Next gig will take place in march,
at the Hellbanger festival in Germany, together with ROOT, DESTROYER 666
etc.

AUTOPSY TORMENT has
signed with Painkiller Records, Belgium, and will enter the studio to record
the album "Tormentorium" (tentative title). Miriquidi Productions in Germany
is just releasing the LP "Orgy With The Dead", featuring the entire Orgy
With The Dead demo + a track called "Gory To The Brave".
Sexual Goat Licker
is no more part of AT or PR, he quit for personal reasons. In PR, the NIFELHEIM
brothers are taking care of bass & drum duties. In AT, former ANCIENT
REBIRTH drummer Thomas Hedlund is taking care of the skinbashing.
AT will attend the
"Under The Black Sun Open Air" festival, with bands like
TSJUDER, NAGLFAR
and a lot of other bands. We're also talking about 2 gigs in Switzerland
and Rene of Miriquidi Productions is fixing us up with other gigs in Germany
around July, when the Open Air festival takes place outside Berlin.
We have a Russian,
Lord Antonius, taking care of our new page (which isn't online yet), and
it will use the same DNS as now, www.autopsytorment.com
Other stuff: Devil
Lee Rot has released his second personal project of Devil Lee Rot. Several
releases are taking place, like "Darkest Rituals" 7'EP (old AT demo), "Moonfog"
LP (another AT demo), Devil Lee Rot 7". So stuff is happening.
We even got a mail
from a person in Novosibirsk running a small, private radiostation called
"Radio Penguin" that wanted us to send him a demo to play, and I am going
to send it to him. Imagine, AUTOPSY TORMENT - "Orgy With The Dead", on
Radio Penguin in Sibiria.

Since October 2001,
the band has a new drummer, Rolando Barros. With him the band toured in
Belgium, France, Spain and Portugal during November to promote the lastest
release «Translucid Dream Mirror».
In the begiining
of this New Year the band is writing new songs. The next album, the fifth
full lenght release so far, has recordings scheaduled for March and it
should be out before Summer. This new album, intituled «Hekaton»
is inspired in the myhths and legends of Atlantis. It should be the fastest

The European INCANTATION
and ACHERON tour for February was cancelled, due to INCANTATION / ACHERON
drummer Kyle Severn hurting his back and being unable to play the shows.
Severn was going to play with both INCANTATION and ACHERON for the tour.
But the good news is Severn is getting better and should be back to good
health very soon. Both INCANTATION and ACHERON are planning to re-schedule
tours in Europe for later this year.
And last, but not
least, DARK FUNERAL is burning up European grounds as we speak. The band
has been touring for awhile now, and plan to keep on doing so. So make
sure you see them when they come to your town!
