After 2 fantastic albums on Season Of Mist, They decided to sign with code666 a long contract for 4 albums. Original, innovative, trend-killer, progressive, Sick gothic metal... fronted by a "Witch-Singer" like Monika (also in TACTILE GEMMA), who's able to do almost everything with her voice, passing from dreamy-sweet whispers to Sick-Schizo-Screams, ATROX will move the standard gothic metal cliches into a Theatrical Extravaganza... They will record their third album in summer 2002... expect not less than a Milestone.

NEW SIGNING: MANES (Norway)
Probably the most underrated Norwegian black metal band of the '90s, MANES is a Total Cult for tons of UG-fans... Their Fantastic previous album on Hammerheart Records titled "Under Ein Blodraud Maane" was a Lonely Black Gem in the actual BM-scene, full of trendy bands, Abyss-standard-sound and evil-cliches... After a long silence, they signed a 4-album-deal with code666, and now they are back to conquer the Black Throne.

1st December 2001:
After 1 year of hard dealings with several labels ABORYM signed a record-contract with Code666! The new album will be recorded in Rome in April and is planned to be out in November 2002 with a special cdrom track inside, realized by Twan Sibon (Cannibal Corpse, In Extremo, Aghora…). Aborym is going to ultimate the song-writing of the new album.

Note that the Prophet of the Apocalypse himself, Bard “Faust” G. Eithun, has already written three lyrics for the third album of ABORYM.

"As some of you guys will know, I have written 3 lyrics for the third Aborym album. With about 2 years left of my imprisonment, I figured it is about time returning to the extreme metal-scene in a more extensive way than I have done so far and therefore I have started writing lyrics for bands around, ZYKLON, ABORYM and SIGH being the most profound ones. I feel comfortable writing lyrics, and in the hope that people stil read lyrics, it gives me a chance to use the music as a speaker for my thoughts and views. Being an admirer of Aborym as well as a friend of Sethlans it was natural for me to write the band the 3 lyrics when they asked me to. Not only is their debut as well as the follower two strong albums consisting of pure sonic black metal, but I also like to support relatively smaller bands - in this vast jungle of bands - and if my contribution could ever help Aborym to get a little more attention, the attention they deserve, I would only be glad, but whereas for now, I am sure their music will speak for itself. 3.) NOVEMBERS DOOM and Neil Kernon will be be entering Sonic Ranch / Village Productions in Tornillo, Texas this month to complete the final mix for their new masterpiece of emotional, dismal doom entitled “To Welcome The Fade.” If all goes well, the final mastering process at Oceanview Digital Mastering in Los Angeles, CA should be finished by Kernon at the end of
February. Promotional materials for press and radio will be ready for release during the first week in March, with the official release date set for April 5, 2002 to coincide with their performance at the New England Metalfest in Worcester, MA. Here is the track listing:

4.) BRAVE are continuing to work on new material for their upcoming release "SEARCHING FOR THE SUN.” So far they have written 11 tracks for the release. The songs will be musically very diverse with generally a heavier feel to many of them, but the band will still have a few songs with progressive acoustic elements. A few new titles include "Out Of Focus,” "Escape,”
"Falling Into Bliss,” "Trapped Inside," and "To Dream Again". BRAVE will begin recording February 26 at Assembly Line Studios in Vienna, Virginia. Kevin "131" Guitierrez will engineer and co-produce their new cd. He also engineered and co-produced the band’s brilliant EP "Waist Deep in Dark Waters". details on “Searching For The Sun” as well as announcements about upcoming live performances by BRAVE.

5.) MAUDLIN OF THE WELL are currently in the process of writing new material for their follow-up release to “Bath” and “Leaving Your Body Map.” The band will once again enter Zing Studios in April with producer / engineer Jim Fogarty (Burial, Killswitch Engage) to begin laying down tracks for their yet untitled cd on DS. Maudlin of the Well will take their unique compositions and vocal performances of astral metal even further into the darker realms of the progressive and the extreme thereby redefining both. Look for a release date sometime in early 2003.

6.) THE RED KING, the neoclassical, dark ambient side project of CORVUS CORAX's mastermind Johann is about to have its debut “VITRIOLUM” released on Dark Symphonies sometime in the late spring, early summer. The music is ominous, mysterious and orchestral, coloured with Johann's haunting, emotional vocals. Fans of RAISON D'ETRE to SUMMONING will find “Vitriolum” to be a fascinating journey into the darker landscapes of the human imagination. Artwork and layout will be by Madeline Von Foerster whose illustrations for The Red King can be seen at www.baphomatty.com. THE RED KING can also be found on the upcoming The Botanical Compilation (including AMBER ASYLUM, COIL, MOON LAY HIDDEN members, BLOOD AXIS, etc) being put out by AJNA Records in March. On the comp will include a song off “Vitriolum” entitled Popover Somniforum (Opium Poppy). Rumor has it that Johann’s composition is considered the best submission by the very label that is putting it out!

7.) Now that AUTUMN TEARS have laid their “Dead Poems For Dying Children” trilogy to rest, the band is venturing into new vistas of timeless beauty and enchanting sorrow. Based on the preliminary demo material that is currently circulating around Dark Symphonies, it is easy to see why AUTUMN TEARS will easily set the standard for Neoclassical dark wave with their new
opus "ECLIPSE." Mesmerizing melodies, sweeping orchestration, and soaring vocals are just a few of highlights that await the listener. The band will continue to write and record new material over the next few months with a release date sometime during the late summer, early autumn of 2002.

The mysterious northern warriors of UNLORD retaliate with their latest and last opus 'Lord Of beneath'. The furious new hateful album turned out to be a perfect mix of their fast pacing debut and their somewhat more melodic second album! After this album UNLORD will disappear into obscurity forever. At this very moment From Beyond Productions is working on the CD booklet of the worldwide release of ABSOLUTE DEFIANCE's debut album ‘Systematic Terror Decimation'. This Indonesian brutal death metal act is formerly known as

HAMMERHEART Records

We are extremely proud to announce that we signed Greece metal-legends SEPTIC FLESH to our roster. The band will enter the Swedish Fredman-studio in May to record their first album for Hammerheart Records.

According to the band we can expect "a fine mix between the old stuff and modern death metal". "Melody meets brutality and ingenious songwriting", like we are used from them on their previous albums. The photo-shoot / artwork will be done by the famous FX Masters (the Alafouzos brothers) in Greece, also known for cinema and TV-productions.

Within a few weeks the band starts the pre-production for their yet untitled new album and a release is scheduled for October. After the release the band is also very eager to hit the road again.

BLOOD RED THRONE... Tchort and his "evil" partners in crime just finished the recordings for the bonustracks of the upcoming "Affiliated With The Suffering" mini-CD. This mini-CD will feature three songs from the unreleased "Deathmix 2000" promo, one regular album-song, one unreleased track from the Nordic Metal II - compilation and last but not least a
cover-song of MASSACRE's classic "Cryptic Realms". Release of the mini-CD is scheduled for early May. Furthermore the band is writing new material for their second album on Hammerheart Records. Recordings for the new album are scheduled to start in May. Latest news is that BLOOD RED THRONE recruited a new drummer in the person of Espen "Beist" Antonsen.

DIMENSION F3H... the recordings for the DIMENSION F3H-album are a little bit delayed because of preparations for the new LIMBONIC ART-album. Morfeus is planning to a have big choir of 38 people (the oldest person in the choir being 90 years old!) and the female vocalist of TRAIL OF TEARS as guests on the album. HAGALAZ' RUNEDANCE... Nebel recently finished the recordings of her new album "Frigga's Web". From what we heard it will be the long-awaited and logical next album after "Volven". At the start of March I move to the Netherlands...so there will be nothing happening on the Invictus front for a while then as I'll be getting set up over there...The next release after that will then probably come out sometime later this year, all things going to plan...

At some stage in January or February I plan to make some limited edition SODOM 'Victims Of Death' t shirts and TREBLINKA 'Crawling In Vomits' shirts...Please don't send any pre-orders just yet....

... are currently writing new songs for their sophomore release. The CD is tentivley titled "Beyond The Flesh". Songs that are complete so far
are "Hate Burns Cold", "... Of Your Sin", "Methodical Termination" and "One Shadow". This new cd promises to be a bit of a departure from "Awaken In
Agony". "Beyond The Flesh" will be a much more intense opus. Furious,
focused, complex and still yet groove laden. Although the grooves on the
newer songs have more of a southern touch than the NY style. It will also be a bit less ambient than "Awaken...". With not as much doom orientation.
"Beyond The Flesh" will be a lesson in intensity, brutality and insanity!

Another, yet untitled, 7" EP of VINTERRIKET will be released in Spring / Summer'2002 by Neodawn (NDP 014) in an edition of 500 copies. This piece of vinyl will feature 2 unreleased songs from the Demotape "Sturme der
letzten Stille"- session.

There are plans to re-release VINTERRIKET's Promo'2001 CD-R on tape format
by Absulum Productions (Philippines / absulum@angelfire.com) in 666 copies!

Besides this, there are plans to make a video-clip for "Nattefrost" from the
"Det Svake Lys" 7" EP'200. Probably Nox Infandus Records
