What about being a Bulgaria-based metal act? Any particular difficulties, boycotts or whatever... Does it take place in your country? Furthermore, what about the institute of censorship?

- To create a band is not a problem here. But to create good music and to stay a real and true band through the years...  that's the problem for the Bulgarian musicians. As well as in the world's scene. The life is too hard for that... for them.

What is it alike, to have a female in the band? Does she participate in creative process?

- Radoslava is in NIGHTSKY BEQUEST since the beginning in 1994. She does only the vocals and some lyrics. We like her voice very much!!!

What is your opinion on those bands who have both male and female members, being engaged or married?

- That's not serious. And I think that the music is not serious. The process of the creation... I don't like those bands.

Do you predict NIGHTSKY BEQUEST a huge commercial success?

- No. Just a musical success and long life our idea and concept. We keep the distance. Our new songs are developed and they are not commercial. It will be good if there will be more people who like our music of course. We will never create music like CREMATORY or TRISTANIA and so on...

Are you happy with X-rated Records? Do they treat you in a favorably
honest way?

- Everything is OK. Of course Mathias is very serious and honest.

I believe, the lyrics of yours may be easily defined as "celestial" due to their shape and contents... Awaking some kind of transcendental feeling inside the certain individual who dares to get him(her)self acquainted with 'em...

- The lyrics are the reason for NIGHTSKY BEQUEST to be so different and not commercial at all. They are the most important thing for me. Thanx for reading them.

What is poetry to you? A part of supreme human art or...?

- Poetry is the beginning of the music. I think so...

Any thoughts upon the demise of USSR and, thus, dawning of a new epoch in European history?

- I find that the thigs are OK now, but about the music I find that there must be more support to the Russian bands as well as all the bands from the post-communist countries, not only to the western ones.

Have you answered any other interviews for the Russia mass-media?

- Not from Russia. From Belarus (Legion mag.) and some others... Anyway thanx for the interview and forgive me for the delay!

What do you know (and think) regarding Russia? Any metal bands coming from our lands that you've heard lately?

- Hey I like OLD WAINDS from Murmansk, MOON FAR AWAY, GODS TOWER from Belarus, THRON', and many more. Also some bands from Ukraine... LUCIFUGUM are a true and really good band too!!

As usual, the future plans of yours... As well as few words for our precious readers...

- We will enter the studio when we finished the songs for our new album. Now I have three songs ready and the idea for two new, but the music will come with the time. We will include also two instrumental songs. The new album will be another step for NIGHTSKY BEQUEST to find peace for themselves.
