To begin with, I'd say that once, being a greenhorn, I also considered myself as a satanist. I'm somehow ashamed for my past, however I'm not going to conceal it.
I called myself a satanist only because I thought that this "religion" is the only thing, which I could oppose to Church and Society. I was wearing inverted cross in the sign of remonstrate against it and acquired more and more troubles, but soon, after regular bible reading, I was shocked by the evident fact - SATANISM IS A IMPRESCRIPTIBLE PART OF CHRISTIANITY and it cannot exist without christian Church!... So what about that boosted "war against christianity", so often discussed by satanists? How can't they
understand that even if christianity falls, then their faith will also cease into oblivion... In compliance with it, a paradoxical conclusion comes to mind - satanists cannot allow it to occur, they must maintain life in the dying body of christianity! You see, nothing can exist without it's opposite - night is not real, if there's no day, goodness will never win, 'coz it cannot exist with evil being absent, and "god" and "satan" are eternal friends, Siamese twins, two parts of the whole, and if one of them dies, then the other one will also turn into dust!
But first of all, let's try to investigate who can be called as a
"satanist". There're different types of these people, and most of them (applying to apt expression by Greg of ESOTERIC) appear as "christian satanists", i.e. persons who take seriously all diverse christian tales, christian accounts of "good" and "evil" and assume "god" and "devil" exactly the way they are embodied in bible. This individuals practice "christian satanism" and blindly believe that jumping around the bonfire in black laces and screaming out meaningless spells will gain them anything... Unfortunately, these people cannot understand one simple thing - their so-called "faith" is utterly based on christian lies and professing this form of satanism, they become a sort of marionettes in christian Church' hands, which only exploits them, exploits as a scarecrow in order to make narrow-minded crowd fear the antagonists of christianity
and draw them in it's bossom.
Other "satanists" naively believe in various occult myths, in hope to find there anything "dark" and "evil" enough to suit their self-esteem and later shine with cognition in occult field among the same morons, looking with pleasure how their long, ornate and unmeaning phrases impress the girls, accidentally fetched up at the same party. All above-mentioned is just a childish fun (however this concerns "christian satanists" as well), to be forgotten with time. The man is growing up, therefore there're more and more convolutions appearing in his brains, and as a result all occult and satanic books lay neglected in the dark garret corner, and so-called "orgies" turn into reminiscences, which could be remembered only with laughter... Of course, there're exceptions - but this is a clinical case,
and I'm not a psychiatrist.
The third ones put on the mask of satanism only in purpose to kick some christian asses, thus unleashing all accumulated aggression and
compensating their mental decline. However, it ends only in one way -
police and undermined authority of satanism in the eyes of usual people, who will go to church and pray for annihilation of above-mentioned bastards. Such individuals even remotely can't conceive what real satanism is alike, they personify it only with abstract evil and violence - nothing more, nothing less. And finally, the last shape of these short-sighted representatives of homo sapiens appear as various Fools, grouping in herds - "Church of Satan" founded by Anton LaVey (100% jew, whose real surname is Levy) is a perfect example. This organization has nothing to do with satanism and "Satanic bible" is a book, created solely in commercial purpose; author's satanism has too much christian (read - jewish) elements, it's too peaceable and civilized... Fragrantly flavoured with
clean-shaved face and carefully hair-do, styled in expensive beauty
saloon.
Well, there's no denying that Levy... ooh, sorry, LaVey, has some
convolutions, at least enough of them to create original and, chiefly, effective way to become rich. But I have only one definition for this sort of people - charlatan.
There's a huge number of suchlike organizations, "churches", "cults" and "circles" nowadays, but no one of them is true, they all follow a new trend, which consists in founding "true satanic church" and gathering around a couple of embittered kids, considering themselves as "the only" and "true" satanists... It's only a way to gain some attention and money. Gaahl is absolutely right saying the following: "Only cowards, fools and weak people gather in flocks like rats, afraid of being alone. But only in true solitude one can reach the power of legions..."
All afore-cited types of people cannot be named as real Personalities - they are only puppets in somebody's hands, their faith is blind. They require some kind of spiritual leader, pastor, who will tell them what to do, where and how to spend money, whom to love and whom to hate, and so on... They have no experience of life, which would allow them to direct their lives themselves, they are not familiar with such things as logic and judiciousness, they have no will, they are just unmurmuring lambs, flocked in a herd, without own thoughts, ideas and wish for finding out their Truth themselves, for embarking this path into the unknown... They are stupid, worthless aphids, able only to follow those, who have merely one goal - to gain as much as possible thanks to these nonentities... In all of the foregoing cases satanism appears as a scapegoat, carrying all the responsibility for eternal crimes, perpetrated by christians.
Very likely that multitude of "true" satanists will disagree with me,
saying that "god" and "satan" really don't exist, and "devil" embodies "dark forces of nature" to them. But, as I already said, these persons cannot be considered as satanists because of one simple reason - if a man doesn't believe in "satan" (and conformably, in "god"), he is the same satanist as I am a Vatican Pope.
Anyway, this religion is in the underground now and must stay there!
