Is "Hell On Earth" your first offering?

- Yes, it is. Before this first demo-tape we recorded two live-CD that were never released and never will be.

"Hell On Earth" strikes as nearly all pro-done effort; coming with splendid musician- and producer-ship, astounding appearance, and so on and so forth. Seems like you prefer professional approach to the music of yours and everything pertinent to it?

- Yes, we always try to offer the best we can to all the people that follow us (and to those who only like to listen us); that's because we think that to offer a shit-produced release is a sort of lack of respect in our fans, so everything we produced and everything will be produced, wil be always realized at the best of our opportunity.

Would I be mistaken supposing that Malibu Studio isn't the cheapest one?

- A bit, that's because it isn't surely a cheap studio but it isn't also an expensive one, it has good price; what makes the difference was Grunt, our studio's phonic. He was great, he had understood immediately what we wanted and he did it.

Is it true that it's kinda tough to take part in a black metal act in Italy, due to studios' expensiveness, for instance?

- Well, I don't know about the price of foreign studios but I can tell you that: YES, here in Italy is difficult play such music, but the difficulties come not when you have to do the expenses that every musicians have but when you saw, all around you, people that have no respect for what you do, expecially after that you have worked so hard. Other problems come when you search a place to play your music… if you can't take a lot of person you find difficulty to play.

"Musically STORMCROW doesn't offer anything special of outstanding, being just a regular black metal combo". Would you disagree with such an assertion, and if the answer is "yes", WHY?

- Yes, I disagree. You are right in calling us a black metal band, but every band has his way of playingand creating music. Would you call MARDUK, DARKTHRONE, GRAVELAND and MAYHEM just like regular black metal combos? I don't think so (nor do I - ED).

It seems like you gain your inspiration in mostly so-called "true black metal" outfits, such as (early) IMMORTAL, MARDUK and ENTHRONED. Is that correct? Whom would you name as these bands' (and STORMCROW's) possible rivals amongst the neophyte ones?

- Lately I rather like JUDAS ISCARIOT, IN AETERNUM, DARK FUNERAL and HANDFUL OF HATE.

Sorry, but the photo "Hell On Earth" comes with, looks pretty ridiculous. Why didn't you choose a better background and scenery, also WASHING OFF this corpsepaint?

- I won't answer this question. Everyone has his own preferences and you are nothing to judge them.

Why does "Hell On Earth" appear as a MC-release? Haven't you got a deal already, and even if not, why didn't you unleash "Hell On Earth" inthe shape of CD on your own?

- HELL ON EARTH is our first release so we can't have a deal. The choice of making a tape more than a CD was due to a lack of money.

… And yet one more time we behold the logo crafted by Mr. Szpajdel! Could you please tell us more in regards to this guy and the way you'vegot yourselves acquainted with him?

- We met Christophe here in Italy, I don't know why he was here, but it was so, since then he helped us a lot giving us a lot of contact more than other in his conutry (Belgium).

The phenomena of the so-called "armageddon" is often being discussed nowadays, perhaps even TOO often… How do you perceive such a disaster? Do you agree with christian interpretation of this subject?

- The Christian's interpretation of the Armageddon is only a tale for to scare the childrens. I think that the Armageddon is a continuos process, there won't be any final judgement or something else, it'll be only the total annihilation of the weak human race by his own hands. We can see the Armageddon working every single day of our life: wars, illness, murders, genocides, pollution and everything we do to kill ourselves.

What about the notions of "heaven" and "hell"? What awaits us on the other side? Biblical purgatory, another forms of life, or simply... rotting six feet under? Yes, I know that no one knows (sorry for the pun) what happens to us when we're crossing the final border, but anyway, what's your view on this matter?

- I don't vare to enter the matter; since I don't know it I don't base my life upon any supposition made about it. I think that at the moment I'm living my life, presently, day after day, and I'm enjoying it, if I would stop to think what will be then I think that I'll finish to loose my present.

Have you been involved in any sort of satanic sect? Would you mind sharing your experience with us?

- I don't want to speak about this nor I want to share my experiences.

Haven't you fronted any kind of catholic resistance, being a part of STORMCROW?

- No, at the moment nothing particular, apart from priests and Jehova's witnesses that watch me bad when I pass with my blasphemous shirt, there was no real resistances.

If you had a chance of killing a priest (the one who, let's say, appears as a father to your most close friend) and going unpunished, would you have enough guts to do it?

- I don't know. Surely I won't kill a priest only for being a priest. I don't hate catholic people, they are only blind and manipulated. What I really hate is Catholic religion. Anyway if I will be sure to go unpunished I think that I could kill a person only for feel what emotions this fact will arise in me.

Would you sacrifice yourself in order to let your beloved one live?

- Yes.

Once, when I was in Vatican (don't ask me what was I doing there,ok?), I saw a BLASPHEMY t-shirt selling in the shop near to this christian citadel. I was laughing for a long, long time… Aren't you acting the same way as I do, at the moment?

- Yes, we often laugh at the strangeness of human's comportament.

What do you know (and think) regarding Russia? Any metal bandscoming from our lands you've heard lately?

- To tell the truth I'm not very informed on your's conutry's band. I've heard something about SATARIAL, but I'm not sure they are Russian. Then I listen to the CD's you sent me: DER GERWELT, NARGATHROND, ANTAIOS and STIGMATIC CHORUS and I can tell you that I rather like them. Good bands!
