Comments: Well, firstly I want to say that such live-shows don’t go so often last 2 years in my homecity due to fucking economical crisis in our country.  Our local scene is not large. There are only 3 serious metal bands acting still- RESONANS – hard’n’heavy olders (their band exists over 23 years), my act ARTEFACTED IRRELIGION (dark atmospheric techno-death) and enough famous in CIS underground - slavonic metal band FORGOTTEN SPIRIT that managed by me too. In such situation gigs are going two or three times in year. So, I can say, this was the momentous event for our city…
The place of action - Young People's Theatre – is the scene with the best sound parameters what evaluated all of participants after the playing…
Guests from our capital – CLOT started the show. Their death metal was scintillating, active grounding on some “core” giutar riffs. This is no wonder because CLOT is the fresh side-project of musicians from excellent Kiev’s core-moshers IMPACT with collaboration of musicians of FLYING. They awoke headbangers enough fast.
The second one’s FLYING arrived the stage. They displayed well-done melodic and fast black / death in the vein of Gothenborg-wave. This act is very active to play live over Ukraine last time and coming secondly in Sumy during the last half of year. (They did the previous show in Sumy September 1999 with ARTEFACTED IRRELIGION, RESONANS and deathers BLAST  from neighbouring city Kharkov). Fans became more active with their appearance…
The next band were our dinosaures RESONANS. Fans watch ’em too often, therefore a big part of headbangers left out the hall to drink beer and have a rest. Although the music of our hard’n’heavy old stagers was responsed higher by GODS TOWER members…
After the RESONANS finished up their russian-languaged programm GODS TOWER appeared on the stage. Wow, what’s the energy!!!! They systematically bomb out their explicit hits from the “The Turns” and “The Eerie” albums on the crowd heads and fans became crazy. The mass was moshing around and me too.  I won’t lie saying I don’t like this act – moreover, they are one of my faves on the CIS underground scene so I decide to shake my bones… Their playing was impeccable and high level technique. Frontman Knife kept in hand the national white / red striped flag constantly seeking for the freedom of their Fatherland. All of us know the situation in Belarus with the freedom! By the music they keep fighting for the liberty of their country and Lukashenko’s dictates! By the cover-version of BLACK SABBATH they wanted to end the show but the fans forced them to play few songs again. The third coming of GODS TOWER with concerts conquered the crowd in Sumy finally and they became the most repected act.
In the end I want to add that this show with the 2 professional video-cameras was recorded on and I was the only photograph here, but not a participant. So, here you’ll find some photos from gig.
