THUNDERBOLT is a relatively unknown band over here, so here you go, demanded is a brief history of the band.

- THUNDERBOLT was formed in the end of 1993 to destroy christian scum and all worshippers of good, to bring death and doom. From the very beginning, Paimon (guitars, vocals) was the most important person, but after a long time of searching, two worshippers of darkness - Durson (gitar) and Galan Dracos (bass) joined the band. The growing hatred and desire of vengeance have forced them to record their first uncompromising demo-tape under the title "Beyond Christianity" (1996) which was released as a "Split demo 1997" with KATAXU "North" (via Eastclan). A few months later, Durson has been dismissed as he was too weak to continue the battle with the ghosts of THUNDERBOLT. In the end of the year 1996 the ban has been reinforced by the new confederate of the night - Uldor (drums). Together they have worked on the beginning of the new war. The summer of 1997 was the time of recording of the fresh material MLP "Black Clouds Over Dark Majesty"- five hymns to prise the Dark Powers. Not so long after that, there has been a split... Uldor has been arrested and he is in prison now. Galan Dracos is suspected of some crimes too and shows his weakness in the eye of the "law"... But, obviously, THUNDERBOLT can't die, because its might is so strong. Christian pigs will be tortured again, their blood will flood Nazarene's scoundrel. The new face in THUNDERBOLT is Wrathyr (backing vocals) and they have signed with a deal with American label Ancestral Research Records. "Black Clouds Over Dark Majesty" is now released as a split CD with KATAXU's "Roots Thunder" and the recent THUNDERBOLT's material for the full-length Lp / CD entitled "The Sons Of The Darkness" is now recorded and will be obtainable as soon as possible.

Isn't "Dark Clouds Over Dark Majesty" a demo re-release?

- Wrong. Our first work was our debut demo "Beyond Christianity". "Black Clouds..." is not our second demo or something like that. It's a MLp.

Why have you decided to come up with a split CD first? And why exactly the one with KATAXU?

- I wanted to help KATAXU with the release of their MLp "Roots Thunder". They have signed with other label from u.s.a., namely Dungeons of Darkness, but when the D.o.D.'s "boss" (Ezunoth) has died, they didn't had any label behind them... Orginally it was planned that Ancestral Research Records will release our MLp "Black Clouds..." together with our demo "Beyond..." on one CD, but when Piaty (the leader of KATAXU) told me about his problems, I've decided to help KATAXU. Besides that, KATAXU is one of the mightiest bands ever and there is very strong brotherhood between THUNDERBOLT and KATAXU. We are the warriors of the new Aeon! Heil KATAXU!!

Don't you think that this release has granted some kind of a re-birth to THUNDERBOLT?

- No, because "Black Clouds..." is quite old stuff (recorded in 1997). The new album "The Sons of The Darkness" is representative for the present face of THUNDERBOLT and I think that it is something like a turning-point in our history. You will see - this stuff shall kill every weak scum and crush all unfaithful bastards!!! Await this masterpiece!

THUNDERBOLT... Why exactly this name?

- THUNDERBOLT is the hammer for judeo-christian scum and the symbol of eternal Nature's Might. "Storm arises from the East announcing new Aeon an era of the Gammadion, the symbol of Might - the sign of Aryan Supremation - Ultimate Wisdom".

"Dark Clouds..." features mostly straight-forward, aggressive tunes yet obviously blended with a sublime and melodic touch... and what about the newest stuff?

- I think that "Black Clouds..." is great black metal with dark, medieval spirit. If you ask about progression of THUNDERBOLT, I can say that our new songs are much more aggressive, brutal and fast but there are also many great atmospheric parts and the compositions are much more enlarged than on MLp etc. I know that "The Sons..." is much better material than "Black Clouds...".

"Similar to SATYRICON, but a bit more epic-sounding" - does this description fit THUNDERBOLT?

- I do not compare my Art to any other band, because I really believe that I create original music. Our new album of THUNDERBOLT will only confirm this statement.

Since the lyrics haven't been printed in the booklet, let me dare to ask you to enlighten us a bit in regards to this subject... What f.ex. do "Moonglace" or "Shadows Of The Deepest Night" deal with...?

- I'm not so fond of speaking about the lyrics of THUNDERBOLT (from the MLp), because they are too personal for me and speak about my spiritual journeys... They could be quite hard to understand for those from the "outside". The new lyrics for THUNDERBOLT's "The Sons..." were written by our friends (Aranath and Ibris) and will be included in a booklet, therefore all interested persons will be able to read them. They speak about themes like eternal hatred geared towards judeo-christianity and the final triumph of our movement and shows our relation to this "modern fucking world"...

THUNDERBOLT is a NS band. Do you consider National-Socialism a particular kind of philosophy or more a way of life?

- I think that NS is both philosophy and the way of life. It's the resistance against all that fucking jewish-conspiracy which rules over this world. It is our fight against everything that is dirty and false. This is the attitude of conscious and proud Aryan. And to all those, who want be very spiteful - let rape your daughters... This is the better solution to be spiteful... isn't it? Ha, ha, ha!
 
You and Wrathyr appear as skinheads, NS skinheads; however as far as I know, most of Poland's right wing chaps are totally anti-NS, simultaneously being advocates of catholicism... Man, I can't get into it, it's simply incongruous!!

- We are not skinheads!! Here in Poland, most of "skinheads" are nothing more than scum and we have nothing in common with them. There are some exceptions like bands HONOR, KONKWISTA 88 and few others and we really support them because we have common goals, ideology etc. However, as I told you before, most of "skinheads" in Poland know nothing about the NS ideology while their "activities" consist of drinking a lot and screaming "Sieg Heil!" (or something) on the street. But nationalists-catholics are the biggest shit. This is paradoxical to be anti-semite and simultaneously go to the judeo-christian temple in order to pray in front of a "face" of Nazarene scum! Maybe these "nationalistic skinheads" have some problems with their personalities or maybe they had hard childhood... I don't know. Besides that, nationalists are against Germans and some others Aryan nations. They do not understand that we are not Poles from 1939 and they are not Germans from 1939! We must unite and fight against our common enemies! EVERY SPLIT DESTROYS THE POWER OF OUR MOVEMENT!!

Furthermore, you should know that plenty of those who consider themselves to be "nazis", also consider themselves to be christians. Sort of, "christianity appears as European, moreover - Aryan (!!!!!!!!!!) cult". Jesus was an Aryan, you see...

- Ha, ha, ha!!! I believe that all these "nazi christians" will visit gas-chambers of Auschwitz in the near future! Yeah, they are right that christianity is "european ANAL cult" ha, ha! Jesus was an Aryan?? Hah, he was (if he was...) just a cheap jewish bitch and nothing more...

Well, I guess these non-entities don't know anything regarding National-Socialism. As well as Jesus. Ok, changing the subject: I've heard the rumours telling that all you guys, as well as those taking part in GRAVELAND, VELES, THOR'S HAMMER, due to some strange reasons, refuse to consider Spanish, Portuguese, Italians and Greeks to be White people. What about that?

- It's a fucking rumour. There has been a plan to create a Polish / Russian / Ukrainian etc wing of the Heathen Front, so how any "slave" could do that, even with support of members from the German wing of the Front? Besides that, I have and my friends has some good contacts with the members of Heathen Front... There are no any "problems" that I am Polish and someone is for instance German etc. Besides that the boss of Ancestral Research Records, JFN, is my great friend and he is also one of the most important persons of German Heathen Front. I think that most of members of the Heathen Front are intelligent persons, who do not talk shit about other white nations you mentioned. I think someone who talk shit about the nations you mentioned is just narrow-minded. Maybe he has a complex about the colour of his own skin...
 
Do you considerer yourselves advocates of heathendom?

- No. I am self-sufficient individualist.

Nevertheless, what's your view on paganism?

- I feel great respect to pagan Gods and pagan Culture that was desecrated and destroyed by judeo-christian pigs. Blood of my pagan ancestors flows in my veins, so I feel the duty to crush the judeo-christian heads. Victory will be Ours!!!

Any comments on Polish black metal scene? European...? Spanish...?

- I think that we have one of the most creative scenes. We have some great bands like: THUNDERBOLT (ha, ha, ha!), KATAXU, SWASTYKA, GONTYNA KRY, OHTAR, SELBSTMORD, DARK FURY, GALGENBERG, JUVENES, THOR'S HAMMER, WOJNAR and few others. We have also some scum like BEHEMOTH, but they are just nothing more than bunch of shit and we don't care about them. We are united under a common banner of eternal war against judeo-christian pestilence! If you ask about the European black metal scene, I can only send my salutations to: Ukraine, Russia (thank you - ED), Germania, France and the proper parts of u.s., Norwegian and Swedish BM scenes! Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the scene in Spain... I only remember one band, namely NAZGUL and one label - Battlefield. Maybe you can recommend me some interesting acts from your country?

Image and reality. Are there any bands left, who're no less extreme than they attempt to look like?!

- If you take it very serious and your 'image' has an importance for you, sort of a spiritual meaning; than you are true in what you're doing. But if you do it for fun or in order to sell more CD's than you're nothing more than scum... like dimmu  burger or cradle of clowns.

Haven't you ever thought of starting up a folk project (let's recall LORD WIND led by Darken...)?

- No, because I am more into aggressive, fast and brutal music.

As I see, you're utilizing corpse-paint... What's the reason for that?

- Corpse-paint is very important part of THUNDERBOLT's Art. It changes our 'normal' faces into the faces of dark medieval Demons. By using the corpse-paint we create very dark and grim atmosphere. We are the warriors of Northern Carpathian Wind.

Hard drugs...? Cannabis...?

- Drugs can inspire, but in hands of intelligent and strong persons. Besides that, drugs in my opinion are great solution to get rid of the all the superfluous weak human scum.
