Kai (K): Personally I reckon VENERAL DISEASE to so-called traditional death  metal; hence, aren’t you feared to stay unnoticed, since there’s truly an enormous number of similar acts?

- Our main goal isn't to become as popular as possible. This is the
music we want to do. So why should we play another one ? We think we do a job.

K: Am I mistaken, assuming that you’re influenced more by US school DM than European’s one?

- We are influenced by all sorts of fast death metal. But you are also right. We are mainly influenced by American bands.

Silvanus (S): Why did you decide to put out “Verdicts” by yourselves? Haven’t you received anything that could be considered a record deal?

- No. Until now we didn't get an offer for a record deal. We also don't know why, because we guess our layout, sound and songwriting comes along in a good quality.

K: “To reveal is to retaliate”… What’s that? This phrase is the one to be discovered while checking out what’s hidden inside the tray card – and I’d like to know what kind of meaning was implied under this assertion.

- "To reveal is to retaliate" basicly means that all of the liars and
goddamned fuckers  mentioned in the lyrics should be revealed. It stands for what they should abuse. For further Information and knowledge read all the Lyrics and you know what "To reveal is to retaliate" really means!

K: I’ve found “A Unique Form Of Disgust” to be the most exciting piece lyrically, when it comes to tunes off “Verdicts”. Therefore, I believe it’s nice if you’ll be able to share with us your thoughts on the subject “A Unique Form…” deals with.

- I think the words I wrote are explicit for the people I wanted to Blame with "A Unique Form...". everybody should build a Thought of his own by reading. The lyrics of "A unique form..." are my greatest motivation to unleash all my hatred.

K: Where do those four bonus tracks come from? Off certain demo work, I assume?

- It comes from the previous promotional tape "Wrathfate". We added it to the CD as a bonus for the listeners.

S: Seems like you're fond of perfoming live? What was the most impressive gig you have participated in, so far? Is there anything to recall?

- The most impessive gig was with MALEVOLENT CREATION, MASTER and KRABATHOR. It was a great experience for us to play with such famous
acts.

S: What audience do you aim at and what kind of message do you carry to your fans?  Do you have anything to say to the world we’re living in?

- To spread lots of Hatred and Disgust by performing live. I am fed up with all these losers playin Death Metal and looking like nice guys. What I wanted to perform as a vocalist is to bring out the deepest wrath I´ll ever be able to.

S: Once in a press conference Lemmy of MOTORHEAD stated the following: “Now rock'n roll doesn’t mean anything, but in the old days, when BEATLES wrote a song, half of the British government resigned. Rock ruled the world, not some fucking politicians!!!” Any comments on this assertion?

- These days are over. Today there are too many big acts. There cannot appear a band like BEATLES again, nowadays.

S: How do you see the future of your music, where shall it develop to: more melody or more rhythm, more conceptual or more ideologically separate, etc.  What do you think regarding the future days of European death metal in the whole?

- The music should develop more brutal and faster. Aggressions ruel the death metal. We think there are enough good European death metal bands (VADER, FLESHCRAWL, GOD DETHRONED...) that can hold up the banner of death. It will never die.

S: Concerning the “veneral diseases”… What would you do once discovering you’ve “caught” either AIDS or HIV (which are, basically, the same)?

- We would do all things which are forbidden.

K: Do you know anything regarding Russia? What’s your attitude to the country of mine as well as it’s people? Any Russian bands you’ve heard lately?

- We think it is a run down country with a government that hold up the pride as the most important thing. The population is poor and dies in old defect submarines (firstly, it was NOT old, and secondly, it was NOT defected. It's still rather unknown why it has crashed - ED). It is time to get that government thinking of the REAL important fact: the lifes of their inhabitants.
